  It’s been a long while since my departure from this church. Perhaps 4-5 years. My wife stayed on maybe a year longer than I . We had been members since 1993. My reasons for leaving were because l saw the new pastor as not a good fit for the congregation!!! Currently I can only recall his first name, Kevin. I will also give you a little history to help understand the situation more. The church had been without a permanent preacher prior to Kevin, for 5 years. I believe because of these 5 years, some of the congregation was obviously becoming inpatient. So, these inpatient people saw to it that Kevin was going to be our next new senior pastor. It should also be noted, that kevin had been considered, earlier, a year or 2 , to be pastor at our church. But he was voted down, by the majority of the congregation. He was NOT meant to be pastor at our church. Someone else did fill that role.
  
  The second reason for my low marks of this church is because the way they treated my wife during the last year or so, as a teachers aid. When she had showed up on the first day of work when school had just started back up, they told her that she wasn’t needed. This was about 2017. She has Alzheimer’s. Nothing was ever said to her, that I know of, that could have indicated that
  She was not welcomed. Nor was I spoken to or asked anything by this group. Heartless.it been about 4 or 5 years now and with the exception of 2 members no one else has ever called or attempted to talk to us about anything.
